but either new one is absent and time is limited, or anything else…

The hole is rather large, the finger may get through, but corrosion seems to be small.

Blast by abrasive K-00-04-16. Just so, there is only local corrosion. Possibly the acid was splashed.

Prepare metal plugs.

It is not obvious for plugs to be of exact sizes. They only have to diminish the holes dimensions.

Because of the small pressure in the boiler one may fix plugs without much care.

Spay powder K-20-11.

Look, fill with water. Everything is all right.

Even the paint was not spoiled.
